Bug#307620: backupninja: Fatal errors stop the script and fail to send email reports
Package: backupninja Version: 0.5-2 Severity: important When a fatal error is found (for instance, wrong permissions in /etc/backup.d), the main script just exits, which means no email is sent to report the problem. This is an important bug, since that means the user can remain unaware of a problem that prevents his backups from happening normally. This happens because the 'fatal' function does an 'exit 2' line 113 of /usr/sbin/backupninja. Since all work happens in the same process (scripts are sourced), this mean backupninja just exits in that case, preventing any further action like sending the report email. Just commenting out the exit seems to be a fine solution, at least temporarily. Probably discussion with upstream is needed to decide what is the proper behaviour in all cases. That is, is it ever important that part of the script is skipped when a fatal error is found? In any case, it should definitely not just finish the whole script. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (700, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.6-2-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages backupninja depends on: ii gawk 1:3.1.4-2 GNU awk, a pattern scanning and pr ii mawk 1.3.3-11 a pattern scanning and text proces -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#299383: More details
Hi, first of all, the problem still exists with package version 1.0.1-2. Secondly, I have found a clue as to where the bug hides. Namely, the described problem only appears when firefox is told to use OCSP (via Edit->Preferences->Advanced->Validation->Use OCSP to validate only certificates that specify an OCSP service URL). With this options set, the errors occur. With OCSP turned off, everything is fine. Please mark this as Severity: Important as it prevents the use of a very important aspect in the certification scheme. Bug#294213: netpanzer: An unexpected exception occured: Send error: Broken pipe
Package: netpanzer Version: 0.8-1 Severity: normal Repeatedly, after playing a network game for some time (for instance 20 minutes), the program shutdowns. The console output ends with: An unexpected exception occured: Send error: Broken pipe Shutdown needed. This looks like a network connection error. But since this happened in all games I tried, and I did not lose my internet connection, I assume this is indeed a bug. It would of course be interesting to know if it happens to others, and if more detailed information can be obtained. Note that there are also hundreds (thousands) of "Message has unknown message class 6." on the console, but that also happens without causing a shutdown, so this might be unrelated to this bug. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (700, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.6-2-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages netpanzer depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:3.4.3-6 GCC support library ii libphysfs-1.0 1.0.0-2filesystem abstraction library for ii libsdl-image1 1.2.3-6image loading library for Simple D ii libsdl-mixer1 1.2.6-1mixer library for Simple DirectMed ii libsdl1.2debi 1.2.7+1.2.8cvs20041007-4.1 Simple DirectMedia Layer ii libstdc++51:3.3.5-5 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii netpanzer-dat 0.8-1 data files for the netPanzer game -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#297841: exim4-config: Local rewrite stopped working after upgrade in sarge
Package: exim4-config Version: 4.44-2 Severity: normal After the recent upgrade in testing, exim started to try to deliver mail sent to local users though the smart host instead of doing a local delivery to /var/spool/mail as it used to. I tried to see why in the changelog, but failed. I don't think the NEWS message applies, since it's about rewriting From addresses, not routing (and anyway I use /etc/email-addresses, and that works fine). I'm in no way expert in exim configuration, so maybe there's something wrong in my config (made with dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config). In any case, this is confusing, and a potential problem for sarge upgrades. -- Package-specific info: Exim version 4.44 #1 built 27-Jan-2005 13:55:35 Copyright (c) University of Cambridge 2004 Berkeley DB: Sleepycat Software: Berkeley DB 4.2.52: (December 3, 2003) Support for: iconv() IPv6 GnuTLS Lookups: lsearch wildlsearch nwildlsearch iplsearch cdb dbm dbmnz dsearch nis nis0 passwd Authenticators: cram_md5 plaintext Routers: accept dnslookup ipliteral manualroute queryprogram redirect Transports: appendfile/maildir/mailstore autoreply lmtp pipe smtp Fixed never_users: 0 Configuration file is /var/lib/exim4/config.autogenerated # /etc/exim4/update-exim4.conf.conf # # Edit this file and /etc/mailname by hand and execute update-exim4.conf # yourself or use 'dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config' dc_eximconfig_configtype='satellite' dc_other_hostnames='blanche' dc_local_interfaces='127.0.0.1:10.0.0.2' dc_readhost='blanche' dc_relay_domains='' dc_minimaldns='false' dc_relay_nets='' dc_smarthost='mail.axelero.hu' CFILEMODE='644' dc_use_split_config='true' dc_hide_mailname='true' dc_mailname_in_oh='true' mailname:blanche -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (700, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.6-2-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages exim4-config depends on: ii adduser 3.59 Add and remove users and groups ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.30.11Debian configuration management sy ii passwd 1:4.0.3-30.9 change and administer password and -- debconf information: * exim4/dc_smarthost: mail.axelero.hu exim4/dc_relay_domains: exim4/exim3_upgrade: true * exim4/dc_eximconfig_configtype: mail sent by smarthost; no local mail * exim4/dc_readhost: blanche exim4/exim4-config-title: exim4/dc_noalias_regenerate: false exim4/dc_relay_nets: * exim4/mailname: blanche * exim4/dc_local_interfaces: 127.0.0.1:10.0.0.2 * exim4/dc_minimaldns: false * exim4/dc_other_hostnames: * exim4/no_config: true * exim4/hide_mailname: true * exim4/dc_postmaster: daniel * exim4/use_split_config: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#410408: mozilla-firefox: fails to save state when using xsm
The behaviour of firefox has changed for me. Unfortunately, I do not know what I have done to cause this change. Anyway, what now happens is: When a checkpoint is made, I do not get any warnings that firefox-bin did not save its state. However, when I shutdown the session and restart it later, the state of firefox-bin is not restored. In fact, firefox is not restarted at all. Bug#411950: Cursor theme does not set
Package: kwin Version: 3.5.5a.dfsg.1-6 I don't know if this is the correct package to file against. There seems to be some problem being able to set or unset a particular Cursor Theme. If I install chameleon-cursor-theme and select one of the themes in Control Center -> Mouse -> Cursor Theme tab, then later on select "No theme", after the next restart of X the Chameleon theme is still being used. I have installed the "big-cursor" theme and want to use it. Since this is an X theme I would think that selecting "No theme" would make this the default, but it doesn't. I know in the past this was how the "artwiz-cursor" cursor seemed to work - when installed it simply became the default theme under X. big-cursor does not show up in the Cursor Theme tab so I'm not sure how to even set it or whether it can be set. -- Daniel O'Neill -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Package: amsn Version: 0.95+dfsg2-0.2 Every time amsn starts a window with the title "Newer version 0.96 available for download" pops up. The window is the full width of the display (which looks terrible on a 1920x1200 display, let me tell you!). Regardless of whether one clicks "Don't ask update again for one week" or not it always comes up at startup. Bug#420057: "Manage Devices and Plugins" annoying popup
Package: amarok Version: 1.4.4-4+b1 Amarok assumes that it has some privileged status on my system by trying to automatically handle the insertion of new media, greeting me with an annoying popup window every time "Manage Devices and Plugins". I use Amarok to play music, but I do not want to use this "feature". I do not want it imposed and forced upon me. It is annoying and close to dangerous that it does this every single time I am trying to work with some external media and this popup occurs, even though I have repeatedly selected the option "Do not handle" for all the /dev/sd* devices it tries to handle. There is no way to disable it and it is definitely a bug at this point. Features like this should be off by default and only be turned on when a user specifically enables them. Bug#417850: Caps Lock don't work
Hi, faw asked me to install debian with a image from here: http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/etch_di_rc2/i386/iso-cd/ I downloaded the businesscard and installed. (on the same machine that had the problem and now that is sid doesn't) Instaled with portuguese Brazil language, and abnt-2 keyboard... just the base system comes... restart and ... the bug still on. If there is anything that I can do for testing tell me. As far as I remember (no way to check this right now), the version of console-data in sid is the same than the one in Etch. console-data are the same at both unstable and etch. Daniel, could you please clarify your bug description a bit? I'm not able to reproduce the problem here and since we're using Etch as basis to most of our O.S. Systems products we do install it every day however no one here has found a way to reproduce this bug but I do want to have it resolved ASAP. Ok. Adding some important information that we figured out on the IRC #debian-boot and could help to lead to the final solution. If you use loadkeys it doesn't happen. To reproduce you need to use 'dpkg-reconfigure console-data'. So, it appears to be related with the console-data maintainer scripts. I'm attaching keytrokes from br-latin1 and br-abnt2 just as a reference, don't know if that could help. The attached archives are divided in four areas: 1) Keytrokes with CAPS, with SHIFT and without CAPS/SHIFT 2) showkey without CAPS 3) showkey with CAPS 4) getkeycodes I preserved the order of the strokes. During the tests, I also tried with us-latin1 and it also shows this problem/behaviour. Bug#735079: kdm: Computer freezes when KDM restarts
Package: kdm Version: 4:4.11.3-2+b2 Severity: normal My computer was freezing with the command "service kdm restart", and it was also freezing after to go to terminal with ctrl+alt+f1 and coming back to graphical interface with alt+f7. At beginning of this problem, I was thinking my problem was with intel video driver (i915), but I've installed LightDM for another reason, and these freezes has just stopped when using LightDM instead of KDM, which made me believe this problem was KDM as this problem happens only with KDM. Same here with Moneyplex 12. The card reader mostly works but PIN entry via keypad doesn't work anymore with the SP05 version. After downgrading, it works again. Bug#693686: mailutils: "/usr/bin/mailutils-config call mu, but mu is mu-tool"
Package: mailutils Version: 1:2.99.97-3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, the /usr/bin/mailutils-config script call the mu tool but there was renamed as mu-tool and does not exist. to solve this problem, call sed -i 's/mu /mu-tool /' $(which mailutils-config). More detailed description and solution was written by Sergey Poznyakoff : After installing libmailutils0-dev, check if the `mu' utility is renamed. Try running `mu --help'. If it shows Usage: mu [OPTION...] COMMAND [CMDOPTS] mu -- GNU Mailutils multi-purpose tool. ... then everything is Ok and you can go on configuring mailfromd. If not, try `mu-tool --help'. If it gives you the above output, then check whether mailutils-config refers to it. To do so, run mailutils-config manually. If its output reads: This is a deprecated interface to GNU Mailutils configuration facilities. It will be removed in future versions. Please, consider using these alternatives instead: Traditional usage | Use instead --+--- mailutils-config --compile| mu cflags mailutils-config --link | mu ldflags mailutils-config --info | mu info mailutils-config --query | mu query mailutils-config --query=FILE | mu query -f FILE For more information, try `mu --help'. then patch it using the following command: sed -i 's/mu /mu-tool /' $(which mailutils-config) Special thanks to Sergey. Bug#700513: linux-base: Cannot resume after suspending (laptop model HP CQ61 410SH)
I got a couple of kernel errors, I'm attaching here. I don't know if they're related, but I thought they might be helpful. I also tried using a live CD with Mageia to see if it suspends with a different distribution, but there is no "suspend" option, and it crashes a lot so I couldn't try from the command line. I'm trying with a Fedora live CD to see if I have better results. Anything else I should be trying? Bug#708031: compiz-gtk: Icons disappears or replaced with monitor icon
Package: compiz-gtk Version: 0.8.4-5.2 Severity: important After updating my SID notebook to Jessie/SID, the problem appears: most of the icons disappeared even those from application or shortcut on the desktop. In the toolbar for instance, wicd or guake icons aren't showed, screenlock, logout, bluetooth or compiz-settings are replaced with the same monitor icon. This icon is also applied to the application in toolbar like Chromium, Icedove, Libreoffice or menu button. Others like time, processor applet, batterie applet, volume control applet, Quassel or Dropbox applications, have there icon like usually. To add to this, it seems that it's using shift as a modifier-key that isn't working when setting shortcuts. If I try to make the shortcut shift+tab it doesn't work either. Because alt+shift changes language, alt+shift+tab will do nothing. This wasn't always the case (I had it set up like this in Debian 5.0). This bug was fixed in Ubuntu a couple of years ago; I added the lines from the Ubuntu patch to the 2:1.12.4-6 version of xserver (no clue if this is the correct way of doing it). To replicate the bug: Add alt+shift as a switch language shortcut. Try to use reverse alt+tab (if not configured, configure it in dconf). alt+tab stops working. -- Package-specific info: X server symlink status: lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 May 17 07:57 /etc/X11/X -> /usr/bin/Xorg -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 2048760 Aug 4 09:40 /usr/bin/Xorg Diversions concerning libGL are in place diversion of /usr/lib/libGL.so to /usr/lib/mesa-diverted/libGL.so by glx-diversions diversion of /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 to /usr/lib/mesa-diverted/libGL.so.1 by glx-diversions diversion of /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1 to /usr/lib/mesa-diverted/i386-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1 by glx-diversions diversion of /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1.2 to /usr/lib/mesa-diverted/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1.2 by glx-diversions diversion of /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libGL.so to /usr/lib/mesa-diverted/i386-linux-gnu/libGL.so by glx-diversions diversion of /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1.2 to /usr/lib/mesa-diverted/i386-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1.2 by glx-diversions diversion of /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1 to /usr/lib/mesa-diverted/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1 by glx-diversions diversion of /usr/lib/libGL.so.1.2 to /usr/lib/mesa-diverted/libGL.so.1.2 by glx-diversions diversion of /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGL.so to /usr/lib/mesa-diverted/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGL.so by glx-diversions VGA-compatible devices on PCI bus: -- 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:0126] (rev 09) 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: NVIDIA Corporation Device [10de:124d] (rev ff) /etc/X11/xorg.conf does not exist. /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d does not exist. Package: libopus0 Severity: important The amd64/i386 packages are not multiarch in Jessie. For me it forces (albeit indirectly) libasound2-plugins:i386 to be not installable by requiring the removal of libopus0:amd64, requiring a significant number of packages to be removed. If you could point me to the existing bug request I would be quite grateful; I seem to be unable to find it in the Debian bug tracking system. I can not seem to find it under the libopus0 heading in debian. The "Me too" comment is inappropriate. I am quite pleased to have made my first bug report; I will continue to post bugs as I find them (doing the appropriate scanning for duplicates); even if you find it annoying/inconvenient. Bug#661571: hibernate: Strange software suspend problem after upgrade from squeeze
Package: hibernate Version: 1.99-1.1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, I experienced a strange problem with software suspends after upgrading from squeeze to testing. When using the shutdown or restart functions from kde my computer often did an unwanted intermedia suspend to ram. Removing the hibernate package solved that problem; reinstalling the package doesn't make it reappear. It's probably some kind of shutdown script problem; I have no idea whether the also installed uswsusp package has anything to do with it. There are no suspend.log files; there are files called pm-suspend, but without any timestamps. But in syslog, there seems to be some information about ACPI sleep events. Perhaps I will be so nice and send you a filtered copy of syslog during some system shutdowns which were interrupted by unwanted suspend to rams. Bug#796558: dhcp 5 bad udp checksums in 5 packets
Package: base Severity: important This bug is the same as closed bug #717215 but not on isc-dhcp-server but dnsmasq which mean it's not related to a specific package. We have a server running qemu-kvm, dnsmasq and libvirt. We have 3 VM, one Windows, one Debian 8 and one CentOS 5. All of them are using the virtio net driver, everything is working perfect witch Debian 7 aka Wheezy. The server was upgraded to Debian 8 aka Jessie: the Windows VM has no problem with dhcp, the 2 linux boxes stop to get they IP address from dhcp server despite the fact that the discovery/offer is send and received as shown with a tshark capture. This problem seems to be an old as seen in the above named bug.A workaround was found on calico and openstack lists which is: iptables -t mangle -A OUTPUT -o virbr+ -p udp -m udp --dport 68 -j CHECKSUM --checksum-fill and/or any other bridged interface used by the system. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.1 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)

Bug#816960: pdf2djvu: fails to detect any foreground
Package: pdf2djvu Version: 0.9.3-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, recent versions of pdf2djvu encode everything as "background" and fail to detect any foreground whatsoever. As a result, the image quality of any text is terrible, and even worse, it is impossible to run any ocr on the resulting djvu file as no text will be detected (since all of it is stuck into background instead of foreground). I tried multiple pdf files (many of them generated by simple-scan in various quality settings), always with the same result. I first experienced this bug in Jessie's version of pdf2djvu (i.e. it used to work fine in wheezy), and then also tried the newer version from testing and the bug is still present there. (In case this info helps with debugging: didjvu works fine on images from simple-scan and has no problem detecting foreground text.) Bug#874458: xserver-xorg-input-libinput: Programs setting mouse position does not honor libinputs translation matrix
Package: xserver-xorg-input-libinput Version: 0.23.0-2 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, Having the following in a file in xorg.conf.d allows me to disable mouse acceleration but still scale my mouse movements: Section "InputClass" Identifier "Mouse" MatchIsPointer "yes" Option "AccelerationProfile" "-1" Option "AccelerationScheme" "none" Option "AccelSpeed" "-1" Option "TransformationMatrix" "1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0.65" EndSection It seems to work fine for adjusting the sensitivity of my mouse. However when a program sets my mouse position it is set just fine, but touching the mouse makes the pointer jump. The jump seems to be scaled according to 1/0.65 (1 over last number in TransformationMatrix), suggesting the mouse move is propagated to libinput driver without honoring the TransformationMatrix internally somehow. How to replicate: 1) Add config from above 2) "xdotool mousemove 500 500" 3) touch the mouse so it moves a tiny bit, and the mouse cursor jumps I use awesomewm, and resizing the windows is complicated with this bug. It also seems to affect all games that snaps mouse to the center of the window, and adjusting the camera by measuring the mouse movements between every snap-to-center action. How it should work: "xdotool mousemove 500 500" should not make the cursor jump upon further mouse movements. This seems like a minor issue, but #-devel said it was worth filing, so here I am. Cheers, Daniel (and let's sidestep the echo/printf question, shall we?)

Bug#839617: linux 4.6 - 4.7.5: intel hd graphics 5500 crash after power save
Package: src:linux Version: 4.7.5-1~bpo8+1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, on linux 4.6 and linux 4.7 I am experiencing a bug which seems very similar (possibly the same issue) to the following: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=96869 I have attached the relevant information from syslog below. The symptoms are the following: When I let my laptop sit a while (so that the screen goes blank), and then come back, xorg becomes extremely slow, i.e. typing my userpsswd to unlock the screen leads to a delayed reaction only after several seconds, and every interaction with gnome-shell thereafter also takes several seconds, making the system unusable until reboot (for which I crtl-alt-f1 to get a responsive terminal). This problem does not occur on linux 4.5 or earlier. (Although I am reporting from a Jessie-system with backports kernel, I would assume the same problem to also happen on debian testing.) cheers, daniel *** syslog: *** Oct 2 16:36:58 debian-laptop gdm-Xorg-:0[1300]: (II) AIGLX: Suspending AIGLX clients for VT switch Oct 2 16:36:58 debian-laptop kernel: [ 1204.508021] [ cut here ] Oct 2 16:36:58 debian-laptop kernel: [ 1204.508042] WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 1300 at /build/linux-sJRxMe/linux-4.7.5/drivers/gpu/drm/drm_irq.c:1318 drm_wait_one_vblank+0x15b/0x1a0 [drm] Oct 2 16:36:58 debian-laptop kernel: [ 1204.508044] vblank wait timed out on crtc 0 Oct 2 16:36:58 debian-laptop kernel: [ 1204.508045] Modules linked in: binfmt_misc(E) bnep(E) nfsd(E) auth_rpcgss(E) nfs_acl(E) nfs(E) lockd(E) grace(E) fscache(E) sunrpc(E) ip6t_REJECT(E) nf_reject_ipv6(E) nf_log_ipv6(E) xt_hl(E) ip6t_rt(E) nf_conntrack_ipv6(E) nf_defrag_ipv6(E) ipt_REJECT(E) nf_reject_ipv4(E) nf_log_ipv4(E) nf_log_common(E) xt_LOG(E) xt_limit(E) xt_tcpudp(E) xt_addrtype(E) nf_conntrack_ipv4(E) nf_defrag_ipv4(E) xt_conntrack(E) ip6table_filter(E) ip6_tables(E) nf_conntrack_netbios_ns(E) nf_conntrack_broadcast(E) nf_nat_ftp(E) nf_nat(E) nf_conntrack_ftp(E) nf_conntrack(E) iptable_filter(E) ip_tables(E) x_tables(E) uvcvideo(E) videobuf2_vmalloc(E) videobuf2_memops(E) videobuf2_v4l2(E) videobuf2_core(E) videodev(E) media(E) btusb(E) btrtl(E) btbcm(E) snd_hda_codec_hdmi(E) btintel(E) bluetooth(E) rfkill(E) intel_rapl(E) x86_pkg_temp_thermal(E) intel_powerclamp(E) coretemp(E) hid_multitouch(E) dcdbas(E) iTCO_wdt(E) iTCO_vendor_support(E) snd_hda_codec_realtek(E) snd_hda_codec_generic(E) kvm_intel(E) kvm(E) irqbypass(E) joydev(E) pcspkr(E) evdev(E) snd_soc_rt286(E) snd_soc_ssm4567(E) squashfs(E) snd_soc_rl6347a(E) serio_raw(E) snd_soc_core(E) elan_i2c(E) snd_compress(E) loop(E) rtsx_pci_ms(E) i915(E) memstick(E) intel_pch_thermal(E) i2c_i801(E) snd_hda_intel(E) snd_hda_codec(E) dw_dmac(E) wmi(E) snd_hda_core(E) soc_button_array(E) dw_dmac_core(E) snd_soc_sst_acpi(E) snd_hwdep(E) snd_soc_sst_match(E) drm_kms_helper(E) int3403_thermal(E) snd_pcm(E) video(E) snd_timer(E) drm(E) i2c_designware_platform(E) i2c_designware_core(E) snd(E) soundcore(E) int3402_thermal(E) processor_thermal_device(E) battery(E) tpm_crb(E) i2c_algo_bit(E) mei_me(E) int340x_thermal_zone(E) int3400_thermal(E) intel_soc_dts_iosf(E) acpi_thermal_rel(E) ac(E) shpchp(E) mei(E) lpc_ich(E) acpi_pad(E) acpi_als(E) kfifo_buf(E) industrialio(E) tpm_tis(E) button(E) tpm(E) fuse(E) parport_pc(E) ppdev(E) lp(E) parport(E) autofs4(E) ext4(E) crc16(E) jbd2(E) mbcache(E) btrfs(E) xor(E) raid6_pq(E) algif_skcipher(E) af_alg(E) dm_crypt(E) dm_mod(E) sg(E) sd_mod(E) crct10dif_pclmul(E) crc32_pclmul(E) crc32c_intel(E) ghash_clmulni_intel(E) jitterentropy_rng(E) hmac(E) drbg(E) rtsx_pci_sdmmc(E) ansi_cprng(E) aesni_intel(E) aes_x86_64(E) lrw(E) gf128mul(E) glue_helper(E) ablk_helper(E) cryptd(E) psmouse(E) ahci(E) libahci(E) libata(E) scsi_mod(E) xhci_pci(E) ehci_pci(E) ehci_hcd(E) xhci_hcd(E) rtsx_pci(E) mfd_core(E) usbcore(E) usb_common(E) fan(E) thermal(E) sdhci_acpi(E) sdhci(E) mmc_core(E) i2c_hid(E) hid(E) fjes(E) Oct 2 16:36:58 debian-laptop kernel: [ 1204.508136] CPU: 0 PID: 1300 Comm: Xorg Tainted: GE 4.7.0-0.bpo.1-amd64 #1 Debian 4.7.5-1~bpo8+1 Oct 2 16:36:58 debian-laptop kernel: [ 1204.508137] Hardware name: Dell Inc. Bug#1070084: libkpimgapi-data: KAddressBook, and possibly related programs, fail to integrate with Google
Package: libkpimgapi-data Version: 22.12.3-1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: dan...@melameth.com Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? I'm new to Linux, and, with the popularity of Gmail and related, I attempted to configure KAddressBook to access my Gmail Contacts, but it did not work. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I attempted to Add a New Address Book using Google Groupware, but it does not work. * What was the outcome of this action? I was unable to use the program as intended. * What outcome did you expect instead? I expected the program to integrate with my Gmail Contacts, much like KOrganizer integrates with my Gmail Calendar. This bug appears to be resolved in newer versions of the program; some details may be found at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=446580 and https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=439285. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.6.15-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled -- no debconf information
