Bug #169264: discover: postinst fails if /cdrom mounted [grave]
Hello, I understand that d-i now uses discover, and that this is therefore a likely place to find someone who would be able to address bugs in the package. There is currently a grave bug against discover for failing to install if /cdrom is mounted. There are comments in the BTS about a possible solution, but no upload is forthcoming. Does someone here want to take responsibility for this? Also, the last upload seems to have been an NMU as well. Are the Progeny folks still interested in this package to anyone's knowledge, or should discover perhaps be considered orphaned? Thanks, -- Steve Langasek postmodern programmer pgp0.pgp Description: PGP signature

Pere? We are waiting for me to get back to Jeff Licquie with the test results and more problems to be fixed, and also waiting for Jeff Licquie to get back to us with fixes to the issues we found in the previous testing. I am slowly getting back to work on these issues again, after being busy all summer, and needing some rest after the summer. :) My goal is still to move us over to discover2, to avoid the kernel version issue in the future, but we have less hurry after discover-data was updated during debcamp to use kernel 2.4 module names. (I copy this to Jeff to get his opinion on where we are too) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
