[Debconf-team] Two points for this evening's meeting (was: Scheduling the job fair)
Hello, all I'd like to take advantage of this evening's meeting to bring this up: First, an update on scheduling time slots. Take a loot at debconf-data/dc15/schedule/debconf15-schedule.ods We foresee to schedule about 22 long-events and 40 short-events, but that will depend on the proposals and how we are able to distribute them in tracks. Or do we want and are we able to set it during hack-time during the week? Therefore, I think we'll have to stick with the original plan for now and get feedback later. If the job fair is a success and our sponsors would prefer it outside of the weekend, then maybe in future years we'll have it during the week… -- .''`. martin f. krafft @martinkrafft : :' : DebConf orga team `. `'` `- DebConf15: Heidelberg, Germany: http://debconf15.debconf.org DebConf16: Cape Town: https://wiki.debconf.org/wiki/DebConf16 digital_signature_gpg.asc Description: Digital signature (see http://martin-krafft.net/gpg/sig-policy/999bbcc4/current) ___ Debconf-team mailing list Debconf-team@lists.debconf.org http://lists.debconf.org/mailman/listinfo/debconf-team

Re: [Debconf-team] DC15 Meeting tomorrow, 20:00 UTC
Hi, The meeting went a bit longer than our usual hour, several things got a very heated discussion. Here are the minutes: http://meetbot.debian.net/debconf-team/2015/debconf-team.2015-03-02-19.59.html Important to note is that we'll be having the DC15-specific meeting on #debconf-team only once per month, as we want to free up some time for the coord-team meeting, that needs to take into account more global things that just DC15. We will also complement this by having the local issues (DayTrip, Conference Dinner, engagement with German media, etc) discussed in a local team meeting, on #debconf15-germany. The first of such meetings was held last week, minutes at: http://meetbot.debian.net/debconf15-germany/2015/debconf15-germany.2015-02-23-19.59.html -- Besos, Marga ___ Debconf-team mailing list Debconf-team@lists.debconf.org http://lists.debconf.org/mailman/listinfo/debconf-team
[Debconf-team] DC15 Budget discussion - Review now - Meeting on Thursday, March 12th - 19:30 UTC
The DC15 budget has been getting updates as we get more sponsors and more confirmation of how much certain expenses will be. Now it's time to try to finalize it and get it approved. The budget spreadsheet is located at debconf-data/dc15/budget/budget.ods And can be viewed directly at: http://scratch.madduck.net/2015-03-02-dc15_budget_proposal.pdf Everyone is invited to look at this budget and ask for specific expenses to be included/called out, . We'd like to finalize the budget and send it for approval to the chairs and the DPL by the end of next week. Please send your comments to madduck before then, so that he can incorporate them in the spreadsheet. We'll have a specific meeting to discuss any open issues, on Thursday, March 12th, 19:30 UTC, on #debconf-team. Please be sure to either be there or send any comments you have before that. -- Besos, Marga ___ Debconf-team mailing list Debconf-team@lists.debconf.org http://lists.debconf.org/mailman/listinfo/debconf-team
