Re: [Debconf-team] Visit to the Old Town of Cáceres

2009-07-21 Thread César Gómez Martín
¡Hola de nuevo!

The visit to the Old Town of Cáceres will be tomorrow at 22:30. We
have to meet at 22:00 at the main entrance of the residence (Muñoz
Torrero) to go there.

The price will depend on the number of attendes, for example: 50
persons = 152€+VAT, so the cost will be between 3 and 4 euros per
person. You should pay at the front desk after the visit.

Please, add a (C) ASAP on the wiki page to confirm you are joining.
http://wiki.debconf.org/wiki/DebConf9/VisitOldTown

For those who are not already here and also want a visit the old town
next week, please coordinate it in the wiki page and once you know how
many people you are, please contact me.

Best regards,
César.

A lot of more of people will be able to attend.

Also, asking now to confirm to call in about ~2h is very *few* time.

No, you don't have to pay for food tickets. Food is included for
professionals and corporates.

I am sending a mail to debconf-announce now to avoid confusions.

[Debconf-team] Paper back designs

Hi,

On http://media.debconf.org/dc9/paper-bag/face.pdf and
http://media.debconf.org/dc9/paper-bag/back.pdf you can see the
proposed design for the paper bags. Nothing revolutionary, DebConf9
logo on one side, official Debian logo on the other.

If you have suggestions, please bug me. Anto needs to give these
tomorrow (?) for printing.

Thank you. I'm in charge of them.

I thought it would be possible to bring then to my
bedroom, but they are a "little" bit bigger than I expected,
so if VideoTeam allows I would let them there, it is probably
just for a couple of days. :)

I'm just browsing quickly through my mails and might have missed some
pieces of information but just in case: For all this kind of events
please register a Penta event to enable us scheduling this properly.
Otherwise I'm afraid several interested people might miss it.

(and no, I'm not prepared to do the scheduling stuff until 24.7.

We will probably have to buy plain bags without the design, because we
have not enough time.

But it is good to have the design just in case we are able to do it.

Anto is doing his best, but it is hard to do it that fast :((

[Debconf-team] I cannot attend anymore debconf9

2009-07-21 Thread Marco Amadori
Dear debconf team,
today the company in which I'm employed, stopped me "gently" to use my two
already payed plane tickets to join you at Caceres.

I would like to do not add more details since I'm feeling between blue and
black right now; so I will just tell you that I cannot attend anymore and
since I have a speech on day 3 at 12:00 I would like to tell you as soon as
possible my impediment to do such talk.

I'm really sad about that, sometimes life is (and more often bosses are)
merciless.

Have fun, happy hacking, happy Debconf to all. :.-(
