Thanks for thinking of us.  Looks like Halifax area will be a little
less impacted.  Still this mornings forecast 31 knots, gusting 63. NW.

Guess I better drop sails after the race on Wed and batten everything down.

Did you try Concordia in S. Dartmouth? Not cheap and they don’t allow much
work to be done by owners, but they have quite a bit of property.

Is the lack of availability because of the Mattapoisett Boat Yard fire a
couple weeks ago? (I saw it on Boneheader Boaters of the Week, a great
YouTube channel!)

I moved to southern Maine this summer and there are no slips or moorings.
Most places estimate a 2 year waiting list. Portland Yacht Club is over 7
years wait, estimated. My C&C34 is still back in Sodus, NY. At least here
for winter storage it is common to just plop the boat down in your own
driveway. Using not-too-rusty jackstands, of course.

Well, I take my boat to Oxford, MD, a nice three day cruise away. Labor rates
are cheaper and a friend owns a yard nearby.

Maybe a minor thread steal here but..
We keep Hideaway in a Safe Harbor in Stamford. We winter with safe harbor as
well. Benefit-12 free nights at other Safe Harbors if you winter with them.
Sometimes a shuttle bus, pool and a restaurant are a good thing.
