I actually used SharedCriterionService to make it work(several items(URL) 
of a targeting list had changed).
It is good for me, but I have a question.
MutateSharedCriteriaResponse 

 
returns criterion_id

succeeds, but it seems that the criterion_id does not match any codes and 
formats 

.
I'm afraid I don't know why.

Google Ads API forum experts told me to contact Google Ads Support. Google 
Ads Support told me to contact Google Ads API Support.

There is clearly a problem here of who is responsible of enabling this 
feature. We are in a loop.

What should I do now? There should be better guidelines here.

Our team understands the issue you are currently encountering. To be honest 
here with you, our team would not be able to identify a Google representative 
for you. The Google Ads Product Support team generally should be able to 
connect you with a representative and you may reach their team via this link.

Once you are connected to a Google representative / Account manager, then you 
may include them in this thread or recommend them to contact our team 
separately through our googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias, so we can then 
provide them the information they need to have your account allowlisted to use 
the wbraid feature.

However, if you do not have account manager, it is not possible allowlist. You 
need to wait until this feature opens for everyone in public release as per our 
guide, it states that :

Uploading offline conversions using wbraid or gbraid instead of gclid is 
currently behind an allowlist, and we expect to eventually roll it out to all 
users.

Please keep an eye on our blog for further updates and announcements.

Does it means that shared sets/targeting lists/items of targeting lists do NOT 
have unique `criterion_id`?
-The said entities have IDs, but the uniqueness of the entities can be 
determined according to this document.

Reporting of performance data is an integral part of Google Ads API 
applications. With the API's flexible reporting options, you can obtain 
performance data for all resources. This includes everything from an entire 
campaign to a set of keywords that triggered your ad. The Google Ads Query 
Language can query the Google Ads API for Resources and their related 
attributes, segments, and metrics using GoogleAdsService Search or 
SearchStream. For more information, you may refer to this page.

The result from a GoogleAdsService query is a list of GoogleAdsRow instances, 
with each GoogleAdsRow representing a resource. If any attributes or metrics 
are requested, then the row also includes those fields. If any segments are 
requested, then the response also shows an additional row for each 
segment-resource tuple.

Also, note that the interactive Google Ads Query Language query builder is

Our team understands the issue you are currently encountering. To be honest 
here with you, our team would not be able to identify a Google representative 
for you. Once you are connected to a Google representative / Account manager, 
then you may include them in this thread or recommend them to contact our team 
separately through our googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias, so we can then 
provide them the information they need to have your account allowlisted to use 
the wbraid feature.

If you do not have an account manager, it is not possible do allowlist. You 
need to wait until this feature opens for everyone in public release as per our 
guide, it states that :

Uploading offline conversions using wbraid or gbraid instead of gclid is 
currently behind an allowlist, and we expect to eventually roll it out to all 
users.

Please keep an eye on our blog for further updates and announcements.

metrics.cost_micros

Hi there,

We are using plecto to import and combine all kind of stats. One of them is 
Google Ads.
Since the new API we do have a problem with the metric: costs_micros

What is the best way to calculate the total costs of our Adwords account 
for a specific date?

I expected it to see that with metrics.cost_micros
but it seems that we have 3 data sources now in Plecto:
Google Ads Performance Max
Google Ads Ad Performance
Google Ads Keyword perfomance.

In all three we can extract cost_micros
but only the result of " Google Ads Performance Max" seems legit. The other 
ones are too low individually - but too big when we add up Ad performance + 
Keyword performance. (so let's say our account ad spent is 1000, (200 
performance max, 800 others) we do see something like : ~200 performance 
max, keywords performance 400 and Ad performance  ~700) wich makes no sense 
to us.

Do we miss something here?

Thank you for reaching out to Google Ads/AdWords API support with your API 
discrepancies issue. Unfortunately, we have no visibility on your 3rd party Ads 
API access provider and cannot support their platform directly. For full 
support you can ask from your 3rd party Ads API access provider could you send 
us a 'DEBUG' log level request and response log of raw API communications 
showing the reports that have a discrepancy?

The request and response appears similar to the JSON Mappings in our REST 
documentation with additional headers and information such as request Id. Here 
are logging instructions for our Java, .NET, PHP, Python, Ruby and Perl Ads API 
Client Libraries.

If you are using our REST interface then the full multi line curl command line 
is a request log and adding curl command line option '-i' will also generate a 
response log.

Once you have the logs, you can try to match them to a report screen in the Ads 
UI that has the same same row segmentation and filters. If you are experiencing 
a discrepancy between the Ads API output and the equivalent Ads UI screen then 
we are the support channel to pursue. If the reports from the Ads API match the 
Ads UI then I suggest you reach out to our product support team for further 
assistance.

With that being said, I can guess that the AdWords API worked differently, the 
Keywords Performance Report was a single attribution report that included more 
than just keywords, in your old non Performance Max campaigns the totals would 
be higher than in than in the equivalent Ads API keyword_view. The keyword_view 
resource will only show metrics that are associated with keywords.

Moreover, Performance Max campaigns don't yet support keywords nor do they have 
Ads objects and if you have recently changed over to Performance Max campaigns 
then the keyword reports and ads reports won't have any metrics from 
Performance max campaigns. The logs will give us certainty on my educated 
guesses.

I can only guess that cost.micro means metrics.cost_micros. Note that depending 
on filters, segmentation, report domain etc... the totals can be different. To 
definitively say that it should contain ALL costs covered from the account 
depends on too many variables. To clarify what is going on you can ask from 
your 3rd party Ads API access provider could you send us a 'DEBUG' log level 
request and response log of raw API communications showing the reports that 
have a discrepancy?

So it seems that there is no way to get a Google Ads Representative 
assigned, and therefore we can't enabled "wbraid" tracking.

Do you see the incongruence here?

Google should better handle these situations, specially when 10% of the 
clicks are coming with "wbraid" parameter. That means that 10% of the 
tracking IS LOST as of right now.

Just because "wbraid" tracking is on an allowlist only access, and to be 
able to get allowed, we need a Google Ads Rep.

Someone here can help us solve this issue?

Re: HTML5 upload ad meda bundle no longer returned

For anyone stumbling upon this ticket and wondering what happened:

The reason the media bundle is not being returned is because the ads in 
question are old template ads which do not have display info. New HTML5 
upload ads will have a media bundle available.

Adwords API to GoogleAds API Migration

Hi Team,
I'm trying to find the equivalent code sample for "*create a remarketing 
user list audience*" in the new Google Ads API. I couldn't find any code 
sample in the new Google Ads API. Can anyone help with this?

Check status of offline job updating on a resource

Hi, thanks for reply. Actually I’m trying to relate the links you shared 
regarding AddCustomerMatch. I have few doubts :

- Is adding remarketing user list audience is same as adding customer march 
user list?
- how conversion tracker service is mapped to this ?because In old api 
sample there is usage of conversiontype and I’m looking similar.

- what is the new api equivalent to the below code specifically 
conversiontracker service, create conversion type, getting and displaying 
 conversion ids and trackers.

Your client does not have permission to get URL (403)

At some point in the past Week google (somehow) got the idea that my IP 
Address is in Cuba. I got a message on youtube that said , "you cannot 
access this content from this country" and it said "Cuba" at the bottom.

I told youtube it was crazy and asked it to update my location (which it 
did) back to Florida where I am. However ever since then I keep getting 403 
forbidden errors all over google properties (and the internet as a whole.. 
most places use Google Apis)

I really need this cleared I have reached out to google many way to no 
avail. After much research I found out they block "embargoed" countries 
(which Cuba is one of them) but somehow it got the idea that my Florida IP 
address is in cuba and no amount of rebooting recycling or resetting is 
clearing that up.

I have tried everything, my ISP can't figure out how to just give me a new 
IP address either which is super frustrating.
