RE: Adwords vs. Google Ads field name difference

2022-04-19 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Fei,

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads API team.

Moving forward to your concern, I see that you are migrating to the Google Ads
API. That said, since you are looking for the mapping table about the
difference on some fields names, then kindly check this resource mapping
document. This document provides you the equivalent fields from the Adwords API
to Google Ads API.

Just to add, you can also check the migration document that has the information
about the said migration. I hope this helps.

RE: google.api_core.exceptions.InternalServerError: 500 Internal error encountered.

2022-04-19 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

Since you mentioned that you have encountered an Internal error while creating
an app campaign, could you confirm if this occurs frequently? So our team can
check better, could you please provide us with the complete request and
response logs, with the request-id, so that our team can investigate further?
You can enable logging, which you may do so by navigating to the Client
libraries > Your client library (select Python) > Logging documentation, which
you can access from this link. We need that information to figure out the root
cause of the issue.

You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to author
option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to
our googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias by referring to this thread.

Re: Region View

2022-04-19 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Raquel,

Thank you for your reply and for your feedback on the segments fields.

However, the behavior discussed in the document that our colleague Jinky has
provided is now the current implementation. For any changes that may be applied
to the reporting feature of the Google Ads API, you may follow our blog for
updates and announcements.

As for your other concern "there was a field for the ID of the country and a
field for the ID of the region (CountryCriteriaId and RegionCriteriaId)", and
as per this guide, you can use the geographic_view.country_criterion_id and
segments.geo_target_region respectively to acquire their values.

You can also refer to the rest of our report mapping guide as well as the query
migration tool, for more information on migrating your reports to the Google
Ads API.

Re: API Quota Reduction

2022-04-19 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Syed,

Thank you for your reply.

To confirm, mutate operations (create, update, remove) should be counted in the
usual operations limit as mentioned here. You may also opt to use the
BatchJobService when creating your keyword plans, and others, since the mutate
operation of this service also supports these operations.

For the other get methods of the planning services, they are then calculated
differently / separately as per this section of our API limits guide.

RE: Max length of image ad URLs

2022-04-19 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Eva,

Thank you for your question.

For ads in general, there are currently no explicit character limits specified
for their final_urls and display_url attributes.

That said, these should then generally follow the limits applied at the Product
level. You may then clarify with the Google Ads Product Support team, via this
link, whether these attributes have specific character limits to consider. I
hope this helps.

Re: Performance_Max campaigns missing in geographic_view

2022-04-19 Thread Ninad Bhangui
Hello Google Ads API Team,
I am looking for Performance max campaigns FROM the geographic_view
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v10/geographic_view)
resource. We are using the SearchStream API currently which you have
mentioned above and it is working fine when the resource is: campaign. We
are able to see Performance Max campaigns there.

But when using the same API for geographic_view
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v10/geographic_view),
We have noticed that Performance Max campaigns are missing.
We just want to know if that is normal behaviour or if it is a bug from
Google Ads API.

I have also found related issues which seem to be similar to what I'm
facing.

Re: Performance_Max campaigns missing in geographic_view

2022-04-19 Thread Ninad Bhangui
Hi Google Ads API Team,
We have been using SearchStream to fetch data and we are receiving
Performance Max campaigns FROM the campaign resource.

However, we also want to see these campaigns FROM geographic_view resource.
When querying for geographic_view we have observed those campaigns are
missing.

Can you let us know if this is the intended behaviour or if it is an issue?

Read-only access via API, should be full access

2022-04-19 Thread Konstantin Tarassow
Hello Google Ads API Support Team,

we have a peculiar problem with the API.

We are using an API token we got via an agency (9837879498) to manage an
account (9845323299)
for one of their clients (3213552882).
We using the same token for all clients of that agency. Other accounts from
other clients of theirs work fine.

But for all accounts of one specific client (3213552882) we can only
execute read operations.
When we try to write something, we get

Method Name:
/google.ads.googleads.v7.services.CampaignBudgetService/MutateCampaignBudgets

When managing accounts of that specific customer via the Ads UI the
managers of the agency can
change everything, it is not read only. They also tell us that the customer
in question gave the agency complete
access (read and write) to his accounts.

Can you find out using the provided info what could be wrong with the

`customer_label` returning labels that don't exist in `label`

2022-04-19 Thread Dorian Kind
Hi,

when downloading all applied account labels within a manager account using
the `customer_label` resource and then comparing the returned IDs with the
labels listed by the `label` resource, a small number of labels only exist
in the former. Both requests use the same login-customer-id.
Checking the web UI, these additional labels also don't seem to show up in
the interface.

For a specific example, running the query

SELECT customer_client.applied_labels, customer_client.id FROM
customer_client WHERE customer_client.applied_labels CONTAINS ALL
('customers/5811963229/labels/2504104868')

lists around 165 accounts in our manager account which have label ID
2504104868 applied, but running the corresponding query

SELECT label.id, label.name, label.status FROM label
WHERE label.id = 2504104868

using the same login customer ID 5811963229 returns no results. Is there
anything I'm missing?

Thanks & regards,
Dorian

Re: `customer_label` returning labels that don't exist in `label`

2022-04-19 Thread Dorian Kind
As an addendum, I've checked a sample of accounts using `customer_label`,
and the additional labels also don't show up in that resource. It seems to
really only be `customer_client` that returns those label IDs.

Re: RDA Limits per Ad Group

2022-04-19 Thread JCAS
Matt,

If you look at my first message you'll see that I mentioned the limits
specified in the documentation you just shared. That's already something I
checked but doesn't answer my question: "What's the limit of RDAs per ad
group"?

I'll send the requested details privately.

Best,
Juan

Cannot get metrics in ad_group_ad_asset_view

2022-04-19 Thread ryo
Hi Google Ads Support Team,

I want to use "ad_group_ad_asset_view" to get the metrics data for
RESPONSIVE_SEARCH_AD.

But with this query I can only get values for metrics.impressions.
The values for metrics.clicks, metrics.cost_micros and metrics.conversions
are empty.

How can I get all metrics?

Query:
SELECT
ad_group_ad.ad.id,
ad_group_ad_asset_view.asset,
ad_group_ad_asset_view.field_type,
ad_group_ad_asset_view.performance_label,
metrics.impressions,
metrics.clicks,
metrics.cost_micros,
metrics.conversions,
ad_group_ad.ad.responsive_search_ad.descriptions
FROM
ad_group_ad_asset_view
WHERE
segments.date DURING LAST_MONTH

Thank you,
Ryo

Conversion Value Rules Audience Condition Missing Data

2022-04-19 Thread 'Achyuth Rao' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

I was trying out the conversion value rules api using the v10 API. I found
out that we only get UserLists and UserInterests in the audience conditions
but not other audiences like Demographics which I can create in the User
Interface. Is there any way to get this information?

Let me know if you need any other information that would help you
investigate this issue

Thanks,
Regards,
Achyuth Rao.
