Re: I need to get userList added to a particular campaign for java client library v201708

2017-10-26 Thread hari krishna
Hi,

1) I uploaded 100k email address to one of the userlist but it is showing
size as 55k to 100k in adwords account . what could be the cause that it
did not show actual size of emails which I added. Is there anything that i
can suspect issue with my programming .

2) I am adding 10 user list to one of my campaign. In this case if i want
to remove 10k email address from the campaign,Then option would be i should
try to remove 10k email address from all user list which i added to that
campaign so that google api will remove matched email address from user
list and remove or is there any other way to do that ?

Thanks!
Hari.

Thanks!
Hari.

Re: I need to get userList added to a particular campaign for java client library v201708

2017-10-26 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Hari,

For your first question, the AdWords UI does not show the exact size of
your audiences. You will need to use the AdwordsUserListService.get()

 method
to retrieve the userlist's exact Size

.

As for your second question and as mentioned in my previous response, the
only way to remove email addresses within a UserList would be to use the
AdwordsUserListService.mutateMembers(). This change will directly be
applied to the UserList object and all other Campaigns which the userlist
is associated to will also be affected by the change.

Thanks and regards,
Peter

Placeholder Feed Item attributeValues Price extension currency codes

2017-10-26 Thread Tiana S.
Hi guys!

Just wondering how you can derive the currency code for Price extensions
from the attributeValues in the Placeholder feed item
report:
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/reports/placeholder-feed-item-report#attributevalues

I found the Feed placeholders for the Price extension
here: https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/placeholders#price
There it states e.g. ID 102 is of type "Price" with a currency ("e.g,. 30
USD"). Checking the output however, it has ID 7 and looks as follows:
'7': {
   currency_code_: [ 85, 83, 68 ],
   amount_micros_: 6000,
   optional_0_: 3,
   isMutable: true,
   cachedSize: -1
}

As you can see the currency code property contains an Array with numeric
values instead of a currency code such as USD.
I tried finding valid values for the returned values (e.g. 85), but I can't
seem to find something to map it to.

Is this return value by design? And if so, how can I find the correct
currency code for the values returned?

Thanks,

Tiana

Campaign Criteria Report

2017-10-26 Thread james . lloyd
Hello,

Does anybody have a working example of pulling a CAMPAIGN_CRITERIA_REPORT?

I'm looking to send the data to BigQuery but have come across no working
examples of the report. I'm particularly interested in whether I can filter
out certain CriteriaTypes.

The python API has this example:

selector = {
'fields': ['CampaignId', 'Id', 'CriteriaType', 'PlatformName',
'LanguageName', 'LocationName', 'KeywordText'],
'predicates': [{
'field': 'CriteriaType',
'operator': 'IN',
'values': ['KEYWORD', 'LANGUAGE', 'LOCATION', 'PLATFORM']
}],
'paging': {
'startIndex': str(offset),
'numberResults': str(PAGE_SIZE)
}
}

But I can't bring through the fields 'LocationName' / 'KeywordText' etc
when using the AdWords Scripts equivalent.

Any advice much appreciated.

Re: AWQL x others API methods

2017-10-26 Thread Eduardo Cesar
Some doubts:

1) Are All queries that we can do using AWQL possible using [.get methods +
predicates + filters]?

2) Are the the soap response/request when we use AWQL query and [.get
methods + predicates + filters]?

3) Is AWQL more efficient in Google Adwords API (The Google response is
faster than the equivalent call using [.get methods + predicates +
filters]) ?

Adwords and Analytics APIs conflict

2017-10-26 Thread davidrbengoa
Hi,
I am working on a Maven project, so I have both dependencies:

com.google.apis
google-api-services-analyticsreporting
v4-rev116-1.23.0

  com.google.api-ads
  adwords-axis
  3.9.0

My Adwords API project was working correctly until I added my code to the
main project which has the Analytics API.
Now, I am getting this error:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:
com.google.common.base.Preconditions.checkNotNull(Ljava/lang/Object;Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/lang/Object;)Ljava/lang/Object;
at
com.google.api.ads.common.lib.auth.OfflineCredentials$Api.(OfflineCredentials.java:89)
at
com.google.api.ads.common.lib.auth.OfflineCredentials$Api.(OfflineCredentials.java:81)
at
aleph.dataconnectors.google.adwords.AdwordsArchiver.getCredentials(AdwordsArchiver.java:108)
at
aleph.dataconnectors.google.adwords.AdwordsArchiver.processReports(AdwordsArchiver.java:191)
at aleph.dataconnectors.google.adwords.Runner.main(Runner.java:14)

If I comment out the "analytics" API then it works correctly. So I assume
there is a conflict between both APIs.
BTW I got the error when my code is in this section:

Credential oAuth2Credential = new OfflineCredentials.Builder()
.forApi(Api.ADWORDS)
.fromFile()
.build()
.generateCredential();

Also I tried replacing the "credentials file" with "strings" (just for
testing) but I am still having the same problem
.withClientSecrets(clientId, clientSecret)
.withRefreshToken(refreshToken)

Any ideas how to solve this conflict?
Thanks
-David

Re: Placeholder Feed Item attributeValues Price extension currency codes

2017-10-26 Thread 'Sreelakshmi Sasidharan (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Tiana,

Thanks for pointing this out. The Placeholder Feed Item report seems to be
returning currency code as ASCII equivalent of the actual currency code
listed here
.

E.g., "USA" would be "[85,83,68]" in the report. You could either have a
logic in your application to convert the ASCII equivalent to the currency
codes or use the FeedItemService.get()

 to
get the attribute values corresponding to the FeedItem. In the meantime, I
will check with the team to see if the reports can be updated to return the
currency codes.

Thanks,
Sreelakshmi, AdWords API Team

 Greetings Christian!

 Here's an update on where we are on this. It turns out that the batch
 job service attempts to send all the requests, but is internally getting
 back a REQUEST_SIZE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED

 error.
 That happens when there are more than 2000 operations in a normal service.
 What batch job service is doing in the background is that it's breaking up
 the request when that happens and then sends fewer requests. This is
 happening so often that the batch job finally cancels itself. That does
 appear to be an issue on our side because of this. We're exploring
 solutions, but there isn't a solution, yet. I'll update you when we have
 more information. At least we now know the root cause of your issue.

Hi David,

It could be due to a conflict in the underlying dependencies. Since this is
related to the AdWords API Java client library, I would suggest that you
post your question on the library's issue tracker
 so the library
owners can help you out.

Re: Campaign Criteria Report

2017-10-26 Thread 'Sreelakshmi Sasidharan (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi James,

You can use CriteriaType

 and Criteria

 fields
to get the type and the description of the campaign criterion. Please check
the report definition given below for reference:

 report = {
  'reportName': 'Last 7 days CAMPAIGN_CRITERIA_REPORT',
  'dateRangeType': 'LAST_7_DAYS',
  'reportType': 'CAMPAIGN_CRITERIA_REPORT',
  'downloadFormat': 'CSV',
  'selector': {
  'fields': ['CampaignId','Id', 'CriteriaType', 'Criteria'],
  'predicates': [{
  'field': 'CriteriaType',
  'operator': 'IN',
  'values': ['KEYWORD', 'LANGUAGE', 'LOCATION', 'PLATFORM']
  }]
  }
  }

Also, the fields 'PlatformName','LanguageName', 'LocationName',
'KeywordText' are not supported for CAMPAIGN_CRITERIA_REPORT. You can find
the supported fields here
.

If you have any questions specific to AdWords Scripts, could you please
post that in the AdWords Scripts forum
?

Thanks,
Sreelakshmi, AdWords API Team

2017-10-26 Thread 'Jude Amagoh' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

If you are using our Java client library, you can check out the GetAdGroups

 Java
example. Example code in other languages are provided here
. You can
use AdGroupService.get()

 to
retrieve the AdGroups in an account and check if the AdGroup with ID
47280168706 exists in the account. If this AdGroup indeed exists in the
account, please let me know. Please enable logging and provide the SOAP
request and response logs so I can take a look. Please use *Reply privately
to author* when responding.

AdWords Report Generation API Not Responding to Date Range

2017-10-26 Thread Austin Smith
Hi,

The date range I'm using in my *DURING* AWQL query doesn't seem to be
having any effect. For example, the following query which requests
campaign object data (no stats):

SELECT
AccountCurrencyCode,
AccountDescriptiveName,
AccountTimeZone,
AdvertisingChannelSubType,
AdvertisingChannelType,
Amount,
BaseCampaignId,
BiddingStrategyId,
BiddingStrategyName,
BiddingStrategyType,
BidType,
BudgetId,
CampaignDesktopBidModifier,
CampaignGroupId,
CampaignId,
CampaignMobileBidModifier,
CampaignName,
CampaignStatus,
CampaignTabletBidModifier,
CampaignTrialType,
CustomerDescriptiveName,
EndDate,
EnhancedCpcEnabled,
EnhancedCpvEnabled,
ExternalCustomerId,
IsBudgetExplicitlyShared,
LabelIds,
Labels,
Period,
ServingStatus,
StartDate,
TrackingUrlTemplate,
UrlCustomParameters
FROM CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT
DURING TODAY

Returns *ALL *campaigns under a specific account, instead of only campaigns
that are running today. I have noticed this behavior for other objects as
well.

What am I doing wrong? How can I filter reports to include
campaigns/objects that are only currently running?

Re: AdWords Report Generation API Not Responding to Date Range

2017-10-26 Thread 'Vincent Racaza (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Austin,

When you use the DURING clause in your query for the Campaign Performance
Report

, it will get the report statistics for all campaigns for the period you
specify (e.g. DURING TODAY). This clause does not mean that it will get the
report statistics for the campaigns which are running on the period you
specify. This is also the same as UI. If you'll filter your campaigns by
"Today", it will still return all campaigns but will show you the
statistics which are for today.

If you want to get the campaigns which only runs for today, then you can
filter your report by CampaignStatus

 =
ENABLED and StartDate

 =
'2017-10-27' (e.g. the date today).

Let me know if you have further clarifications.

Thanks,
Vincent

Re: AWQL x others API methods

2017-10-26 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Eduardo,

You may refer below for my answers :

1) Are All queries that we can do using AWQL possible using [.get methods +
predicates + filters]?

Yes. However, please take note of the following items
 to be
considered when using AWQL in service calls.

2) Are the the soap response/request when we use AWQL query and [.get
methods + predicates + filters]?

SOAP request and response should be the same whether you use AWQL
queries of the SELECTOR fields.

3) Is AWQL more efficient in Google Adwords API (The Google response is
faster than the equivalent call using [.get methods + predicates +
filters]) ?

As previously mentioned and as discussed in this section of the guide
,

the advantage of using AWQL is that "*AWQL is usually a more efficient way
to code the same call.*" and does not necessarily affect the response time
of your call.

Thanks and regards,
Peter
