Re: How to include Zero Impressions in Ad Performance Report?

2012-01-20 Thread Dmitriy
Hello Kevin.

I have use this:

ReportDefinition Object
(
[id] =>
[selector] => Selector Object
(
[fields] => Array
(
[0] => AdGroupId
[1] => AdGroupName
[2] => AdGroupStatus
[3] => AdType
[4] => AveragePosition
[5] => CampaignId
[6] => CampaignName
[7] => CampaignStatus
[8] => Clicks
[9] => ConversionValue
[10] => Cost
[11] => CreativeApprovalStatus
[12] => CreativeDestinationUrl
[13] => Description1
[14] => Description2
[15] => DisplayUrl
[16] => Headline
[17] => Id
[18] => Impressions
[19] => IsNegative
[20] => KeywordId
[21] => Slot
[22] => Status
)

[predicates] =>
[dateRange] =>
[ordering] =>
[paging] =>
)

[reportName] => Ad performance report #1326985594
[reportType] => AD_PERFORMANCE_REPORT
[hasAttachment] =>
[dateRangeType] => YESTERDAY
[downloadFormat] => CSV
[creationTime] =>
[includeZeroImpressions] => 1
)

And there are all impression values > 0 in the report, but I can see ones in
AdWords web interface.

Please, advise.

Thanks, Dmitriy.

Re: Inconsistent errors during AdParam Upload

2012-01-20 Thread Peter Lanser
Hi David,

first of all thanks for your help.

Currently all our punctuation tests are green.

However, the following is a subset of our test set including request ids
(the given examples mutate an existing param):

" €42" request id: 0004b6f217e0d8b80a3459e85dfc
"€42 " request id: 0004b6f217ee0f880a3459e85dfc
" €42 " request id: 0004b6f217fa31000a341b626eb4

As already mentioned everything works fine now but we had some
incosistences some days ago.

Best regards,

DotNet Library Upgrading to v201109 AdHoc Reports

2012-01-20 Thread aengland
I am using the DotNet Client Library and want to be sure I am
retrieving my report properly. I followed the below example that says
it is using the AdHoc Reports:
http://code.google.com/p/google-api-adwords-dotnet/source/browse/branches/v13.0/examples/csharp/v201109/DownloadAdhocReport.cs

I am retrieving the KEYWORDS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT (as opposed to the
ADGROUP_PERFORMANCE_REPORT in the example). Does the DotNet Client
Library make the HTTP Post with the report definition XML behind the
scenes when the DownloadClientReport method is called or is it still
using the SOAP API? Some other examples I see are posting in raw XML
which makes me wonder (such as this one https://gist.github.com/1287940)
what is the proper way to call the Ad Hoc reports. Thanks in advance.

Re: How to include Zero Impressions in Ad Performance Report?

2012-01-20 Thread Kevin Winter
Hi Dmitriy,
  The includeZeroImpressions field defaults to TRUE. This field gives you
the option of setting it to false to exclude zero impression rows without
having to request a column designated as excluding zero impressions.
 However, if you include such a column, zero impression rows WILL be
excluded regardless of the value of includeZeroImpressions.

Could not read report - Performance Search Query Report

2012-01-20 Thread u_api_user
Hi Adwords-Team,

today we noticed a problem when requesting a search query performance
report. We received the error message
"Could not read report" using a date range from 10.05.2011 to
18.01.2012. Using another date range f.i.
21.12.2011 to 20.01.2012 works without any problems. The date is the
only difference in our request.

Do you have any idea why this problem occurs?

Thanks for your feedback,

Best Regards.

Hi Kevin,
I have try this:
$reportDefinition = new ReportDefinition();
$reportDefinition->selector = $selector;
$reportDefinition->reportName = 'Ad performance report #' . time();
$reportDefinition->dateRangeType = 'YESTERDAY';
$reportDefinition->reportType = 'AD_PERFORMANCE_REPORT';
$reportDefinition->downloadFormat = 'CSV';
$reportDefinition->includeZeroImpressions = TRUE;
and try to comment last row. There are no zero impressions in report any

Re: DotNet Library Upgrading to v201109 AdHoc Reports

2012-01-20 Thread Peter S.
The DotNet Client does make the HTTP post with the report definition
xml. That example was prior to the release of the DotNet Client API
code being released but if you look under the hood its close to the
same but with the API code writing to xml for you from a
ReportDefinition. I should know it was my snippet.

Re: updating from Cross Client Report Download (ReportUtils::RunAsyncReport) to ReportUtils::DownloadReport

Hi Kevin,

can you please tell me how to do this with the ASP.NET library? I
really looked for AuthToken related methods or attributes but didn't
find anything.

Or another way of doing it (which I might even prefer) - is it
possible to login with the MCC account and download the report once
for each Customer without changing the AdwordsUser? Like having a
selector.predicate.field = "CustomerId" or similar?

Best wishes and thanks for any answer

Re: updating from Cross Client Report Download (ReportUtils::RunAsyncReport) to ReportUtils::DownloadReport

2012-01-20 Thread Kevin Winter
Hi Alexander,
  Unfortunately, while the DotNet library does expose the Captcha
challenge, it does not provide any way to solve it and get an AuthToken:
http://code.google.com/p/google-api-adwords-dotnet/source/browse/trunk/src/Common/Lib/AuthToken.cs#184

Could you please file an issue on the library's tracker?
http://code.google.com/p/google-api-adwords-dotnet/issues/list

We do recommend setting up an MCC account that has all accounts linked to
it. Then you can create an AdWordsUser with the email and password of the
MCC account and just change the clientCustomerId each time you want to
download the report for a different user.

DeveloperToken in reports rollback

2012-01-20 Thread Kevin Winter
*Based on recent AdWords API forum posts, many of you are unaware that on
January 17th we began requiring a developer token in all post v13 report
downloads. As a result, we are temporarily rolling back this change to
give you additional time to update your applications and upgrade to the
latest version of the client libraries. If you have already made this
change, no action is required on your part. We do plan to enforce this
requirement and will update this blog
postto
 reflect that.

Minimum client library versions with support for providing the
developerToken header in reports are as follows:

   - DotNet -
13.1.0
   - Java -
8.4.1
   - Perl -
2.5.1
   - PHP - 2.7.1
   - Python -
15.0.4
   - Ruby - revision
7ef32092a4d2

As always, we encourage you to
subscribeto the AdWords API blog
posts and Twitter
account and to follow us on the
forumto ensure that you
are aware of all critical updates and requirements.

If you have any questions, please post on the
forumor attend one of the
AdWords
API Office
HoursHangouts.

Google connection timeout values for AdHoc reporting

2012-01-20 Thread k.m.public.01
AdHoc reporting is now through a synchronous http POST. Is there a limit
imposed on Google's end as to how long it will allow that connection to be
open?

I thought that I had read this in the documentation somewhere, but I can't
find it.

Thanks for the help,
  k.m.
