I'll be at the Cary Amtrak tomorrow. Where are you located?

Leah, we could ride all states. We could cross off multiples at a time.
You've proably ridden many already - PA, NJ, MI, NV I think we'd be

Do your ride - your own way - on your bike. You know I only ride my

Betty's were made in different sizes in different years. And in the later
years some were Yves Gomez and some were Cheviot. What other questions do
you have?

Thankfully I've removed my stem a few times - usually to box my bike when

I've taken my train on Amtrak. The various regions operate differently.
Always call when in doubt. Their system is easier to tell what type of

campsites from local ones to state parks to nat'l forests, etc. I've used
my Betty Foy for light touring. I've lived off my bike for 2 weeks at a
time. Thanks for sharing.

A helmet is never a bad idea. The pavement is hard whether you're in your
driveway alone or w/a a group. Most bike crashes are solo falls. Helmets
can help. More upside than downside to wearing a helmet. I'd rather plan
my next ride than waste time deciding whether to wear a helmet and whe
