version 1.7+ requires the sbbi upnp java library. TripleA, however,
uses a different code base than upstream's code base - so the
triplea's version would have to be used. This could cause problems for
people that expect sbbi behavior but get triplea behavior.

I've been unable to reproduce the crash on i386. It seems we have the same
python-sip version. I can also get older versions of qtiplot plot to work with
the old python-sip as well.
Have you tried this on a non-AMD64 machine? Perhap

- Linux: libpng and libjpeg directly linked into the executable to get rid of
dependency and availability of according system libs.
