hello again Georg O., I just realized one thing: to write or erase the flash, I first have to upload the respective routines to the RAM of the STM8. If I am not mistaken, you also use the "E_W_ROUTINEs_xK_ver_y.z“ files by STM, and compile them into the source code (siehe http://sourceforge.net/p/oggstreamer/stm8flasher/ci/master/tree/STM8_Routines/e_w_routines.c).
I have no problem with releasing my own code under GPL, but what about the code by STM? Or did you develop your own routines to interface to the ROM bootloader? If yes, I would rather use those - just to be on the safe side… For a brief feedback thanks a lot in advance! Regards, Georg I.
