We could. But it will mean at least another week of delay. I'm guessing about half a week to fix both problems reported by Gudjon and create RC3 and then another half week for testing RC3 before the release. If nobody objects to the delay before 15:00 GMT today it is accepted. Otherwise it might be postponed to after the release. This means subversion trunk should stay frozen until 15:00 GMT today.
