Summary: OSC string for xterm header sent twice Group: GNU Screen Submitter: lvd Submitted: Tue 22 Oct 2024 11:28:30 AM UTC Category: Program Logic Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 5.0.1 Fixed Release: None Planned Release: None Work Required: None _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Tue 22 Oct 2024 11:28:30 AM UTC By: lvd <lvd> When doing echo -ne "\033]0;qqqq\007" from a shell under screen, the string "qqqq" with a proper screening by \033]<number>; ... \007 will be sent twice. First in SetXtermOSC(), then in ShowHStatus(). Probably that should be done only once. PS: in a "normal life" that xterm header would be set by a properly configured shell indicating, for example, current directory. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?66367> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
