Since several years, I have experienced sporadic hangs of screen. They
happen like this:
One screen hangs, but I can still switch to other screens and also detach.
When I detach and try to reattach, the client process hangs. It is also
unresponsive to Ctrl-C. Suspending works.
I observe this behavior both on FreeBSD and Linux. I could not yet find a
way to reproduce the problem. It happens rarely, but frequent enough to be a
real annoyance.
If you have a similar problem or any insights, please comment. I can put
some time into fixing this, but currently I do not have any good theory what
the problem could be.
