Summary: Hide/Show number of windows in hardstatus bar Project: GNU Screen Submitted by: None Submitted on: Sun Jun 27 17:31:12 2010 Category: Feature Request Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: Cur Dev Sources Fixed Release: None Planned Release: None Work Required: None _______________________________________________________ Details: Hi, I would like to hide the window numbers in hardstatus line and I created a little patch to do that. In particular my problem was that the number is always shown for window listing (options -w and +w in hardstatus string), and I let it to be configurable by user, putting a 'n' before the character 'w'. I created a new flag, named numflg, in MakeWinMsgEv, and used the number 16 for that flag in the variabile flags. The character 'n' isn't displayed by 'screen --help' but in screen.c is already taken. I thought that the only effect of -n is to increase the pointer s of 1 so I used it. I'm not sure this is correct, but it's simple to change. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sun Jun 27 17:31:12 2010 Name: hstatus_num.patch Size: 2kB By: None <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=20834> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?30271> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
