hi folx,
a few days ago david rn into trouble loading diffrent libs.
if we talk about a resource manager, we should also talk about a naming-convention for
ct-api's.
this is my suggestion:
a ct-api should named like this:
ctapi-nnnnn.xyy.so
where n is a "well know identifier"
x the major-no of the release
y the minor-no of the release
here is an example. my ct-api is for mct which follows spec v0.9
and it's release 1.00
so i would name my ct-api:
ctapi-mct09.100.so
so i think we need also some kind of nameing authority. this sound bigger that it is.
we
only need someone who put all the diffrent names to public and looks that there are no
doubles.
so let me know what do you all think about that
bye gregor
