In general, it's good to add log extracts to help diagnose your problem :-) I did not remember vumeter.. vumeter is for printing volume meter on the console terminal. I am not sure that it has been tested recently but it should work I think. As for visu.volume, it's a SDL operator so I would be a bit careful if used in production. It's a big chunk of code that may be less stable.. Perhaps you could set it up on a second liq instance, which would be "allowed" to crash without major impact to production data..
