Because I am not a license lawyer. I'm a programmer and know when I don't

Your help and info are appreciated and have helped me dig deeper into the
problem and understand the area better, as well as aiding me in sorting out
the status of the most difficult files, but I feel I am now wasting your time.
I haven't even been able to test drive savannah to see if it it suitable.
I'll progress elsewhere, do what I have understood and take my chances, which
can't be any worse than those of the original project which has had no trouble
in all its long life.
You can close this issue now and I'll delete nongnu.sox_ng
If you wish you may also delete the issue which is embarassingly public. I've
taken a copy for my reference.
