Follow-up Comment #7, task #7015 (project administration):
After reading beuc's comments and talking with ams on #savannah, I agree; I
was mistaken in believing that was a GPL violation. However, during reviewing
the license with ams, we noticed the following clause:
"Title to copyright in this software and any associated
documentation shall at all times remain with M.I.T., and USER agrees to
preserve same. "
Unless I'm very much mistaken, it means M.I.T is the copyright holder of this
code, and any derievate works based off it which makes his code non-free, and
GPL incompatiable.
Beuc, you want to weigh in on your two cents on the subject matter?
