The GNU project is not some FSF "backyard", nor is it "controlled" by the FSF. It is unfriendly to accuse either Ian, or the FSF in this manner. We are not entield to the FSF's time or help, yet they help us and take care of our equipment and go beyond that -- because our goals are the same.
Third and last, I think the GNU Ethical Repository Criteria Evaluations[1] need to be updated. For instance, Gitlab has a C (approved), and it seems like it denies access to Cuba and other countries[2]. Please send an email to repo-criteria-disc...@gnu.org and see what they have to say.
