Systems can normally do both web serving and housekeeping at the same time. Plus the Savannah systems are scaled up to be quite good high performance systems with plenty of cpus and ram. So I can only believe that there is also a third thing happening at the same time. It is that unknown third thing that I wish to know about.
Thanks for investigating. Meanwhile, is there an easy way to change how fast the web requests time out? That would provide a workaround in the mean time, until you figure out what is really wrong. -- Dr Richard Stallman President, Free Software Foundation 51 Franklin St Boston MA 02110 USA www.fsf.org www.gnu.org Skype: No way!
