To be clear it isn't normal for web sites to time out during the daily housekeeping run of tasks. That is abnormal. The web server should function acceptably well during the housekeeping task run. It might not be as responsive due to extra cpu load. But it shouldn't be timing out for normal user usage of it. It should still operate 24x7. Systems can normally do both web serving and housekeeping at the same time. Plus the Savannah systems are scaled up to be quite good high performance systems with plenty of cpus and ram. So I can only believe that there is also a third thing happening at the same time. It is that unknown third thing that I wish to know about. Please give me a bit of time to look into the problem. I am sure I can figure out what is happening and improve it. Bob
