Hi,

Kopi is a gnu package that has unfortunately declined in both use and
development for several years.
As of 2002, the development lost much of its speed.
As of 2005, the project was thought to be discontinued and dead as the site
that hosted it (www.dms.at) no more exists.
Nevertheless, the development of new features and bug fixes has continuted
in snail speed.
KopiLeft Development SARL (created in 2006) is now the main and only
developer of gnu kopi (headed by Thomas Graf, gnu maintainer of kopi).
Kopi is now hosted on sourceforge (since 2007) but it lacks a lot of
support and contribution in order to catch what it missed in the last years.

In order to revive the community around the kopi suite, i want to create a
mailing list named "kopi-devel" in which i will describe the current state
of development, ask people to join the project and discuss any development
related topics. I hope that kopi will regain a position that any "gnu"
qualified project should have. So, how do i proceed to create "kopi-devel"
mailing list? Thank you.
