Follow-up Comment #19, sr #107077 (project administration): Sylvain et al,
In https://savannah.gnu.org/support/?107077#comment14, Robert Collins (a Bazaar developer) points out that bzr+ssh access does *not* imply shell access or the ability to run arbitrary hooks. He also points out that sftp and bzr+ssh interoperate fine. It is important for the Emacs project to be able to use bzr+ssh, for performance reasons (see Stefan Monnier's comment https://savannah.gnu.org/support/?107077#comment13). Can savannah please support bzr+ssh? Is there something we can do (besides Robert's advice) to help with this? RMS recommended we contact savannah admins about this, in http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-devel/2009-11/msg01171.html. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?107077> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
