It is mentionned on everypages. If it works without, I was not aware of it.
That said, for your project it's clearly broken. I asked Jaime Villate, cvs
expert, to look into it because the config for your project seems ok to
me.

I don't understand. So I am supposed to type 'anoncvs' as
the password? This wasn't mentioned on the page describing
anonymous CVS access and it isn't necessary to access CVS
for other projects.
