No. Not directly. That's a separate system. It was apparently also getting hit last night. I see in this mornings logs that lists and debbugs were both getting hit while I was sleeping. So indirectly it is similar in that it is abuse from the network for each of these. But it's a parallel problem happening beside the git cgit service abuse. I don't know if the IPs hitting it are the same or not. All of the systems are being targetted. And my associations with other communities have complaints that their infrastructure systems are also getting hit too. The world has become a somewhat more hostile place with more attacks on everything. Gack. > If not, could someone please look into it and fix it? I also notice that mailman is not processing mailing list messages. These messages came to me directly but have not yet appeared through Mailman to the mailing lists yet. > Actually, it's worse than that: it sounds like the mailman archives > were not updated since several hours ago (e.g., emacs-devel's archive > says "Last Modified: Mon Jan 20 2025 00:40:09 -0500"), and it looks > like email delivery from the list stopped at about that time. It's definitely not processing incoming messages. But I don't know if the problem is only lists or if it includes eggs the incoming mx system. > I see nothing on https://hostux.social/@fsfstatus about this. I'll see what I can do there. > Help! I will ping sysadmin and see if we can't get some help for lists. That's an exim system and out of my domain knowledge space and requires Ian to work the problem. Note that today in the US is Martin Luther King day and a work holiday for most paid employees. And today also happens to be inauguration day as well this year. It's also 7F/-14C outside and I need to go shovel the sidewalk before doing any more system work this morning. Bob
