Sorry I'm pretty new to SANE, but it's been working great for months, then at some point between a few weeks ago and today, my same-old scripted "scanimage" command is returning nothing but blank pages.
Can anyone suggest a direction for my bugfixing? I'm stumped. Thanks in advance. THE COMMAND: scanimage -d "genesys:libusb:002:003" --format=tiff --resolution=300 --mode=Color > scan.tiff THE OUTPUT: http://imgur.com/EVAj8zQ (see the streaks in there? any ideas?) I'm on Arch Linux, and do the usual "pacman -Syu" to keep software up to date. I've rebooted, and run these diagnostics that all seem OK: # sane-find-scanner found USB scanner (vendor=0x04a9 [Canon], product=0x1909 [CanoScan], chip=GL124) at libusb:002:003 # scanimage --list-devices [bjnp] create_broadcast_socket: bind socket to local address failed - Cannot assign requested address device `genesys:libusb:002:003' is a Canon LiDE 110 flatbed scanner # scanimage -d "genesys:libusb:002:003" -T scanimage: scanning image of size 636x885 pixels at 8 bits/pixel scanimage: acquiring gray frame, 8 bits/sample scanimage: reading one scanline, 636 bytes...
