-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Dear all,
A new release of Image Scan! for Linux has been made available at our website. http://avasys.jp/eng/linux_driver/ This release fixes a few issues in the core package and adds support for a number of new models in the data package. Note: you need to install _both_ for a working setup. - From the NEWS file of the core package (iscan-2.26.1-3): * fixes a bug where sheets were ejected before being scanned when using the ADF with certain devices * fixes a bug where sheets were not being ejected properly after a scan was cancelled when using the ADF with certain devices * fixes a bug that caused incorrect model names to be displayed under certain conditions * adds support for customizable backend behaviour through the use of options specified in the epkowa.conf configuration file. Currently, only the prefer-adf option is available. See epkowa.conf for more details. - From the NEWS file of the data package (iscan-data-1.5.0-0): * adds support for the following devices: - Epson AcuLaser MX20DN - Epson AcuLaser MX20DNF - Epson ME OFFICE 620F Series - Epson Stylus Photo PX660 Series Digging through the archive, I noticed that, in the buzz of things, we forgot to announce iscan-data-1.4.0-0 which came out only three weeks ago. From the NEWS file of that package: * adds support for the following devices: - Epson Stylus Office TX620FWD Series - Epson Stylus TX560WD Series Changes to the epkowa.desc file have been attached. If someone could commit these to sane-backends that would be appreciated.
