I recently installed Ubuntu Jaunty on a machine connected by SCSI to an Epson Perfection 600 flat bed scanner. When I run XSane I see that the program sees the scanner since its name and the port it's connected to, sg2, are listed in the window titles. However, when I click on "Acquire preview" I get the error message: "Failed to start scanner: Invalid argument"
