Hi, > I'd like to help and I've got the scanner working on an old Win 98 > box I had lying around so how do I get the USB trace and who do I > send it to? You need to install an USB sniffer first. I prefer USBSnoop which is=20 available from http://benoit.papillault.free.fr/usbsnoop/ . The page=20 also gives basic instructions on how to use it. To produce the log you should =2D unplug and replug the scanner =2D Start the scanning software =2D Do a preview scan =2D Do a very small scan with lowest resolution The resulting log file can be found in \win98\usbsnoop.log IIRC.=20 Please compress it and send it to me in private email. If there are=20 any problems let me know. /Oliver --nextPart2852017.aKkNFnedWP Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBCIFfL/V6sbrmfIuMRAjYPAJ9RuNR9fFIHrXqarDdrQNPEU0z7GQCeJ1/x hfRVQv5bRpJXkFceHfW5G2s= =L9t7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart2852017.aKkNFnedWP--
