Can you add this info to the information pages about these > scanners in CVS, please? let me get into the discussion as I want to know if I can help. I opened my 2400 scanner in order to find out anything about the chipset. Unfortunately it seems that the board with the chips on it (that board receives also the power and USB conenctors) is =ABprotected=BB by a metal foil that cannot be removed by screws, because there are at least two solded spots. I guess I could try and remove them and remove that kind of "protection". Do you want me to do that so that I can see what is written on the board o chips and son on, or is that already something known?=20 =20 --=20 Yves Maniette
