Hi,
The problem I had with jpeg in sane-backends-1.0.7 was
caused by tru64's shared jpeglib, which is version 5. Renaming
the shared lib enabled the configure script to find version 6b
of libjpeg.a
Now, you'll hate me because I tried to configure with
--with-gphoto2, but it couldn't find gphoto2-config. I went
and got sane-backends-1.0.7-cvs-2002-04-23.tar.gz, but
gphoto2-config couldn't be found there either. The only file
close was gphoto2.conf. What's the deal with gphoto2-config?
