A frontend :-) Generally one of scanimage, xsane, xscanimage, QuiteInsane or any other SANE application (see http://www.mostang.com/sane/sane-frontends.html for a list). At least xsane and xscanimage also work as Gimp-Plugin. Bye, Henning
