Hi folks,
I just got around to testing my scanner with sane
1.0.8 and xsane 0.86 and I have repeated a problem I
have had for a year or two and never bothered to try
and fix.
Scanning in colour or greyscale works great, but if
I try to scan in lineart or halftone the image gets
stepped various amounts depending on the width of the
selected area.
eg. Halftone at 600 dpi select area of < 3/4 in;
image is fine, > 3/4in image is stepped
Lineart at 600 dpi select area of < 2 in; image
is fine, > 2in image is stepped
My system is 1200MHz Athlon, K7S5A MB, 256MB
