Try having SA connect to the RDP port.. if it doesn’t respond that may work.

I’m monitoring a terminal server via ping, then have dependencies under that main ping for hard disk size and RDP service. I’ve had the server hang the past couple of days whereby the ping is still good, but users are not able to access via RDP. There is no alert generated from SA. Am I missing something?
