* The name change as such is not a problem for the FileProperties check to
handle.
For example:
\\host\share\directory\{Mmmdd-yy}.Log
(file://\\host\share\directory\{Mmmdd-yy}.Log)
Today it would check \\host\share\directory\May31-07.Log
(file://\\host\share\directory\May31-07.Log)
(Page 171 & 172 of the PDF based doc show how this works for the URL check,
that same logic works for the FileProperties check).

Subject: [SA-list] File Properties System Date Parameter?
Hi all,
I need to check a remote log file is being updated every x minutes (creation
time change). Each day it creates a new file with a name based on system date.
Is there a way to parses this name change via the File Properties app? We would
use this to check if a service has hung.
If not, what suggestions can people make?
Cheers
Barry
