well, it probably depends quite a bit on the security settings of the
account/machine.

But a proper job would be to either get the signing stuff done, or leave
the binary installation entirely to Conda/Homebrew etc.

It is ironic that we have cryptographers and infosec people as Sage users
(and some of them are heavy Mac users too), but cannot get Sage stuff
cryptographically signed on Macs.
