I think it's not just related to Ubuntu, but also up to the latest
release of Firefox. The annoying thing then is that if my laptop don't
have a net connection, then opening the notebook using Firefox would
fail. To work around this, I did as Jason suggested above and uncheck
the offline option in Firefox.
