The Black jmol window appears if I am in the reference manual (accessed in a
separate Firefox window via the help button). Everything else there works as
expected (including 2d graphics).

But if I use my own notebook in the main Firefox window everything work OK.

In the reference manual window it seems that jmol thinks it is serving the
graphics but it is not visible there. I don't know whose bug this is: sage,
firefox, jmol, or java. No error messages are to be found anywhere.
