Hi Ryan, you can remove certain static libraries and strip everything to go down in size. You lose the ability to develop on that copy, but it seems to be a trade off you are willing to make for the "compute only version" of your Sage install. I am traveling now, but since this has been a much requested feature I will write a script that does the job - unless somebody beats me to it.
