Hi SageMathTeam, I'm Ruchit Jagodara, a sophomore at IIT Gandhinagar studying Computer Science. I have some basic math knowledge (which I think is enough for the projects in which I want to apply). I have proficiency in problem solving using python, c++, c, java. I am also a specialist at CodeForces, and 3 star coder at CodeChef. Some relevant coursework that I undertook include :- Discrete mathematics, vector calculus and differential equations, linear algebra, etc.
I am currently working on implementing the algorithm of finding minimum generating set function for all groups in polynomial time complexity based on the research paper <https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0021869323005720?via%3Dihub> . I'm excited about the projects on https://wiki.sagemath.org/GSoC/2024 that match my skills and interests. I have some questions regarding GSoC: 1. Can I submit more than one project proposal? (What is the maximum limit of no. of proposals that one can submit?) 2. On the website mentioned above, some projects don't have mentors listed(i.e. Create an interface to the SmallGrp database). Are these projects still available for GSoC 2024, and can I start working on proposals for them? Looking forward to your guidance and the chance to contribute to these projects. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sage-gsoc" group.
