Dear All, It is my pleasure to announce that three high schools from Italy, Poland and Turkey have been awarded with a grant totaling 63.000 Euros through Life Learning Program (Comenius Multilateral School Partnership). This program will be continuing for two years starting in September, 2013. Our project title is "Making Mathematics Interactive With Mathematics Software Sage" , which aims at bringing sage into our schools' curriculum via running workshops in each participating countries (Of course not just only math, it is also about cultural exchanges too.)
As you may know, LLP program goes into 3rd phase which will be called "Erasmus+" through 2014-2020 with an estimated budget of 16 Billion Euros. I think it is good to write a project that includes higher degree institutions (mainly universities). If anybody interested in participating this kind of project (which is more elaborate than the project we are currently running due to its budget and complexity ), please let me know. My knowledge about Sage and my organizations skill are not enough to lead this kind of project but I am willing to help in writing the project and be a contact person for the higher institution involved in project from Turkey( our high school may involve in this project too.) If you have any idea and are willing to take a part in the project, I am looking forward to hearing from you.
