Yes, I used my favorite online recorder, http://screencast-o-matic.com,
which is per force cross platform!
This site makes it very easy to record your desktop + your voice as an
*.mp4 file which is compatible with youtube!
I use the same hardware and software in Windows and Linux to record my
classes. I also have a Smart Airliner Slate and Smate Notebook for
giving notes and exporting them to *.pdf.
