"domain: complex" is not the default, so that is probably less tested, and the person(s) writing the code that deals with assumptions of the type "x>0" will naturally not be inclined to think about how that would interact with how `domain: complex` changes the behaviour of the system. It doesn't surprise me they don't combine well.
