Please give this new build a try: https://github.com/embray/sage-windows/releases/download/0.1a3-7.4/SageMath-7.4.exe This was built incorporating the fixes pointed out by Dima for Givaro and FFLAS-FFPACK. I don't see any binaries built without -mtune=generic anymore but there could still be some other "misbehaved" packages w.r.t. SAGE_FAT_BINARY--I don't know. If this one doesn't work I'll see if I can track down a machine with an older CPU to do more testing myself--until then I really appreciate the help.
