I've put together a new build of the Sage for Windows installer that I previewed last week:
https://github.com/embray/sage-windows/releases/download/0.1a2-7.4/SageMath-7.4.exe This time Sage was built with SAGE_FAT_BINARY=yes, so I *hope* the new build will fix the issue some of you had with an Illegal Instruction exception upon starting Sage. I don't have an alternate system on which I was able to reproduce that issue, but there are good reasons to believe this should fix it. I've also fixed (really worked around for now) the RuntimeWarning about sys.path, and plot() should now work from the command-line so long as your system has a default viewer for PNGs (or whatever filetype is output). Please let me know how it goes, especially if the previous build *didn't* work for you. And you can see a list of current known-issues here: https://github.com/embray/sage-windows/issues?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=is%3Aissue%20label%3Acygwin%20 Thanks, Erik -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sage-devel" group.
