I somehow agree with that. In fact, when I was "younger", I often looked
into the specific folders (sage.algebras for example) when I wanted to find
the code for the category of algebras.

Of course it would be difficult to change that (but after all, the category
framework has substantially changed in the past, so, why not change it
again?).
