I’ll add that a lot of people warned of the impeding troubles. And none of these people reviewed the associated tickets.
It took me by surprise personally and I didn’t realise the extent of it. As a sage-on-gentoo dev I usually don’t touch that part of sage apart to strip it away for the Gentoo distribution. I don’t think it is appropriate for me to review something that I just cut off. I don’t know about the other people.
