No. It should be clearly stated that in order to have matching C, C++
and Fortran compilers, it is *not* enough to install gcc, even though
"gcc" stands for "GNU compiler *collection*", hence, should naturally
be understood as a collection of c, c++, fortran and perhaps some further
compilers.

The fact that gcc-c++ and gcc-fortran are not included in the gcc
package is the underlying reason for my misunderstanding.
